How do I calculate GST on an amount?

To add GST, multiply the base amount by the GST rate. To remove GST from an inclusive price, divide by 1 plus the rate. The difference is the GST amount.

What is the difference between CGST, SGST and IGST?

For sales within a state the GST is split equally into CGST (central) and SGST (state). For sales between states the whole tax is charged as IGST.
